Most of what makes FREEZME safe isn’t a feature we added. It’s things the product simply cannot do.
There is no way for a stranger to reach you
There is no feed, no directory, no search, and no browsing. Nobody can look you up, scroll past you, or send you a message out of nowhere. You can only ever exchange messages with one person: whoever we deliberately introduced you to that week. If you do nothing, nothing happens.
This is the whole design, and it is why unsolicited messages — the thing that makes most dating apps exhausting — are not something we moderate. They’re something we made impossible.
Everyone is verified before they can be introduced
Every member verifies a real contact before matching begins, and accounts under review are pulled out of matching entirely. Members are 18+ only.
We are honest about the limit here: we do not run criminal background checks, and nobody who does can promise you safety either. Verification tells you someone is real and accountable. It does not tell you they are good. Meet accordingly.
You control every reveal, in order
- Writing first. You read why you were matched, and exchange a short written conversation — six messages each, over seventy-two hours.
- Then a video date, once you have both written a little. Half an hour, and only if you both want it.
- Then contact details — and only if you both say yes afterwards. One yes shares nothing. If you say no, the other person is told the conversation ended, never that you declined them.
Your phone number and email are never shown to another member before that final step. Not in the introduction, not in the conversation, not on the video date invitation.
Reporting stops contact immediately
You can report or block from inside any conversation. The moment you do, the conversation ends and that member is paused — before anyone at FREEZMEreviews it. You do not wait on us to be protected from someone.
The opening exchange of every conversation is screened automatically, and anything serious suspends the account rather than flagging it for later.

- Tell a friend where you’ll be, and when
- Your own transport, both ways
- Leave whenever you want, for any reason or none
